Paul Gardner

Paul Gardner is the managing director of Osprey Communications and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in PR, communications strategy and planning, crisis management, film production, media engagement and training.

Paul was a senior broadcast journalist at the BBC for 14 years, making films on national news programmes, Newsnight and regional news. Latterly, he was a Deputy Editor of programmes on BBC1, working closely with John Humphrys. He was also a senior adviser to Kenneth Clarke, when he was Chancellor of the Exchequer, and wrote speeches and articles for the Prime Minister and other senior government ministers. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, has an MBA and is currently studying part-time for an MSc in Chinese Studies.

Paul has led on communications projects for a range of clients in recent years including the NHS, GSK, the Environment Agency, the British Medical Association and the West Cumbria Managing Radioactive Waste Safely Partnership.
